Melting

first of all we melt the metal using gas and oxygen and pour the molten metal into a skillet.

We then mill the metal out into square wire and then into D shape, Flat or Court shape wire.

using specially shaped pliers we bend the metal into a rough ring shape and size and if necessary shape around the existing engagement ring.

we saw the surplus metal off either end and bring the two ends together.

Soldering

Using specially treated metal solders we join the two ends together.

At specially designed benches we file off the surplus solder and generally shape the ring.

We remove the file marks and put the final shape into the ring.

We put that final polished lustre to the very special rings.
